What is the rate for a therapy session?

Individual Therapy: $175 per session
Couples Therapy: $200 (1 hour)
$300 (90 min)
Your actual out of pocket expenses will be lower based on your insurance's out-of-network benefits provisions.

Are your therapy sessions covered under my insurance?

I am covered under Out-Of-Network benefits for individual therapy and couples therapy if your plan allows out-of-network services. Clients pay directly and then seek reimbursement for therapy sessions from their insurance providers.

Overview

I have found, in my private practice, that people usually seek couples therapy or individual therapy when they are going through an extremely stressful time in their lives, feel increasingly depressed or anxious or feel dissatisfied with different aspects of their lives (relationships, career, life transitions). My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental atmosphere in which couples and individuals can express their feelings and gain insight into what led to their current state of mind or difficult situation.

Through self-exploration and recognition of self-defeating behaviors, couples and individuals can identify and change these behaviors in order to improve self-esteem, relationships in their lives and pursuit of personal and professional goals. I provide short and long term individual and couples psychotherapy for adults and adolescents.

My eclectic approach includes psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques as well as Imago Therapy to meet the needs of each individual and couple as no two people, or couples, are alike.
